Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Beijing

Arrive at Beijing Capital (PEK) or Daxing (PKX) Airport. Meet your guide for a private transfer to your hotel. Stay overnight

Day 2: Beijing

Drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall (approx. 1.5 hours). Take the cable car up to the watchtowers for incredible views of the winding stone dragon. Enjoy a fun toboggan slide down from the wall. On the way back, stop for photos at the Olympic Bird’s Nest and Water Cube. Relax with a foot massage or catch a high-energy Acrobatic Show at Chaoyang Theatre.

Day 3: Beijing

Walk through Tiananmen Square, then enter the Forbidden City, the massive palace complex with 9,999 rooms. Visit the Temple of Heaven, where emperors performed annual rites. Watch locals practicing Tai Chi, calligraphy, and ballroom dancing in the surrounding park. Explore the trendy Sanlitun area for modern dining and nightlife.

Day 4: Beijing to Xi'an

Stroll through the lakeside gardens of the Summer Palace, the former royal retreat. Board a High-Speed Bullet Train to Xi’an (approx. 4.5–5 hours). Enjoy the view of the Chinese countryside at 300+ km/h. Arrive in Xi’an. Visit the Muslim Quarter bazaar at night—a sensory overload of neon lights.

Day 5: Xi'an

A 1-hour drive to the Terracotta Army Museum. Witness thousands of life-sized clay soldiers, each with unique facial expressions, guarding the tomb of China’s first emperor. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a landmark of the Silk Road. Watch the massive musical fountain show in the North Square. Enjoy a Tang Dynasty Dinner Show, featuring traditional music, dance, and a colorful “Dumpling Banquet.”

Day 6: Xi'an to Shanghai

Cycle or walk atop the Ancient City Wall, one of the oldest and best-preserved defensive systems in the world. Fly to Shanghai (2.5 hours). Or Proceed for bullet train. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and head straight to The Bund waterfront to see the skyscrapers light up across the river. Take a Huangpu River Night Cruise to see the colonial “Old Bund” contrasted with the futuristic “New Pudong” skyline.

Day 7: Shanghai

Explore the 16th-century Yu Garden and the bustling Yuyuan Bazaar. Visit the Jade Buddha Temple to see the two 1.9-meter-tall white jade statues. Ascend to the 118th floor of the Shanghai Tower (the world’s 2nd tallest building) for a view from the clouds. Final shopping spree at Nanjing Road, the world’s longest shopping street, and the trendy French Concession.

Day 8: Shanghai – Departure

Visit the Shanghai Museum in People’s Square to see ancient bronzes and ceramics. Experience the Maglev Train (the world’s fastest commercial train) to Pudong Airport—it reaches 431 km/h in minutes or Transfer to Pudong International Airport (PVG) for your flight home.
