Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Leisure

Arrival & Check-in: Arrive at the nearest airport (Rajkot or Diu) or railway station (Veraval or Junagadh) and transfer to your pre-booked resort or lodge in Sasan Gir. Relaxation/Local Exploration: Check in, have lunch, and relax after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you can choose to explore the immediate surroundings of your resort, take a nature walk, or visit the nearby Devalia Safari Park (Gir Interpretation Zone) for a guaranteed glimpse of lions and leopards in a smaller, fenced area.

Day 2: Safari Adventure

Wake up early for an exhilarating morning jeep safari into the core area of Gir National Park. The early hours are often the best time for lion sightings. A forest guide will accompany you in an open 4×4 vehicle. Return to the resort for a hearty breakfast and some leisure time. Relax by the pool or take a short afternoon nap. Head out for another thrilling afternoon safari from around 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, exploring different routes and areas of the park to spot a variety of wildlife, including deer, langurs, crocodiles, and diverse bird species.

Day 3: Departure

Breakfast & Check-out: Enjoy breakfast at the resort, complete the check-out formalities, and proceed to your onward destination, whether it is the airport, railway station.
