Day 1: Arrival in the "Heritage City" Ahmedabad
Pickup from Ahmedabad Airport/Station. Visit the Sabarmati Ashram and the Sabarmati Riverfront. Marvel at the light show at the grand Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar.

Join the Morning Heritage Walk in the old city to see traditional “Pols.” Visit the Jama Masjid and the Sidi Saiyyed Mosque with its famous stone lattice work. Drive to the intricately carved Adalaj Stepwell.

Drive to Vadodara110 km | 2 hrs). Explore the Laxmi Vilas Palace, which is four times the size of Buckingham Palace. Visit the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum and the Baroda Museum & Picture Gallery within the Sayaji Baug gardens.
Explore the Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, a UNESCO site. Visit the Jami Masjid and take a ropeway up to Kalika Mata Temple atop Pavagadh Hill.
Drive toward Bhavnagar(200 km | 4 hrs). Stop at Lothal, a major port city of the ancient Indus Valley Civilisation. Visit Takhteshwar Temple in Bhavnagar for panoramic views of the city and Gulf of Khambhat.
Drive to Palitana. Climb approximately 3,500+ stone steps (or use a doli/palanquin) to reach the 800+ marble-carved Jain temples on Shatrunjaya Hill. Important: Descent must begin before sunset as overnight stays on the hill are prohibited.
Drive to Gondal. Check in to a heritage property like the Orchard Palace. Afternoon: Visit Naulakha Palace, famous for its stone carvings and balconies, followed by the Royal Vintage Car Collection featuring classic Mercedes and Packards.

Drive to Junagadh (1.5 hours). Visit the Mahabat Maqbara, a 19th-century mausoleum featuring striking spiral staircases and Gothic-Islamic architecture. Explore the Uperkot Fort, featuring 2,300-year-old Buddhist caves and the deep Adi Kadi Vav stepwell.

Visit the Ashoka Rock Edicts, 14 inscriptions by the Emperor dating back to 250 BCE. Afternoon: Begin the long drive back to Ahmedabad (approx. 6.5 hours).
Final shopping for Bandhani or Patola silk at Law Garden before drop-off at the Airport/Station
