Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Ahmedabad

Arrive in Ahmedabad and visit the Sabarmati Ashram and the intricately carved Hutheesing Jain Temple. Witness the light and sound show at the massive Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar.

Day 2: Ahmedabad to Jamnagar (via Rajkot)

Drive to Jamnagar (approx. 6 hours). Visit the Bala Hanuman Temple, famous for continuous chanting since 1964, and the Lakhota Lake and Museum.

Day 3: Jamnagar to Dwarka

Attend the morning Aarti at the Dwarkadhish Temple (Jagat Mandir). Visit the Rukmini Devi Temple, Gopi Talav, and take a ferry to Bet Dwarka, believed to be Lord Krishna’s residence.

Day 4: Dwarka to Somnath (via Porbandar)

En Route: Visit Nageshwar Jyotirlinga. Stop at Porbandar to see Kirti Mandir (Mahatma Gandhi’s birthplace) and the Sudama Temple. Attend the Aarti and Sound & Light Show at Somnath Temple on the Arabian Sea coast.

Day 5: Somnath to Diu or Sasan Gir

Visit Bhalka Tirth, where Lord Krishna is believed to have left his mortal body, and Triveni Sangam. Relax at Nagoa Beach in Diu or drive to Sasan Gir for a jungle safari.

Day 6: Junagadh & Return to Ahmedabad

Explore the Uperkot Fort and the Ashok Rock Edicts in Junagadh. Optional ropeway ride at Girnar Hill, a major pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Jains.

Day 7: Departure

Final shopping for Patola silk or local handicrafts in Ahmedabad before your flight/train
