Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Munnar

Arrive at Jabalpur Airport (Dumna) or Railway Station.  Drive to Bandhavgarh National Park (approx. 200 km / 4 hours).  Check into your wildlife resort. Enjoy a briefing from a naturalist or relax by a bonfire.

Morning Safari: Explore the Tala Zone, the most famous for its high tiger density and the ancient Bandhavgarh Fort.  Afternoon head into the Magadhi or Khitauli zones for a different forest perspective and sightings of wild elephants.

Final morning safari in Bandhavgarh to catch predators at their most active.  Drive to Kanha National Park (approx. 240–250 km / 5–6 hours).  Arrive at your resort near the Khatia or Mukki gates and enjoy a traditional tribal dance performance.

Enter the Kanha Zone to witness the vast meadows and spot the “Jewel of Kanha”—the endangered Barasingha (Swamp Deer). Afternoon Safari: Explore the Mukki or Kisli zones, known for sightings of Royal Bengal Tigers and Sloth Bears.

Another chance for a safari in your preferred zone to maximize wildlife sightings. Visit a local Gond or Baiga tribal village to experience the culture and handicrafts of the forest-dwelling communities.

Check out and drive back to Jabalpur (approx. 165 km / 4 hours). Optional: Visit the Bhedaghat Marble Rocks and Dhuandhar Falls on the Narmada River before your flight/train
