Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Tokyo

Arrive at Narita or Haneda Airport; meet your tour manager and transfer to your hotel. Relax or take a short walk to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden for a peaceful introduction to Japanese landscapes.

Day 2: Tokyo

Visit Senso-ji, Tokyo’s oldest temple in Asakusa. Walk through Nakamise Street for traditional crafts. Photo stop at the Imperial Palace (Nijubashi Bridge). Visit the serene Meiji Jingu Shrine tucked inside a massive forest. Experience the “Scramble” at Shibuya Crossing and see the Hachiko Statue.Activity: Optional Kimono Rental for photos in Asakusa.

Day 3: Mt. Fuji & Hakone

Travel by coach to the Fuji Five Lakes region.Highlights:Drive to Mt. Fuji 5th Station (2,300m) for breathtaking views. Lake Ashi Cruise: A scenic boat ride on a pirate ship with Fuji in the background. Hakone Ropeway: Aerial cable car over the “Great Boiling Valley” (Owakudani) to see active sulfur vents.

Day 4: Tokyo to Kyoto – The Bullet Train Experience

Board the Shinkansen (Bullet Train). Reach Kyoto in ~2.5 hours (speeds up to 320 km/h). Visit Fushimi Inari Shrine, famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates. Walk through Gion District, the geisha quarter, as lanterns light up the wooden machiya houses.

Day 5: Kyoto

Visit the stunning Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), a Zen temple covered in gold leaf. Walk through the towering Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and visit the Tenryu-ji Temple (UNESCO site). Cultural Experience: Participate in an authentic Japanese Tea Ceremony. Explore the Nishiki Market, known as “Kyoto’s Kitchen.”

Day 6: Nara & Osaka

Short drive to Nara. Visit Todai-ji Temple, home to one of Japan’s largest bronze Buddhas. Feed the friendly, free-roaming deer at Nara Park. Continue to Osaka. Visit Osaka Castle and its impressive moat. End the day at Dotonbori, the neon-lit food street.

Day 7: Hiroshima & Miyajima

Full Day: Take a day trip to Hiroshima via Shinkansen. Highlights: Visit the Peace Memorial Park & Museum and the Atomic Bomb Dome.Take a short ferry to Miyajima Island to see the “Floating” Itsukushima Shrine (UNESCO).

Day 8: Osaka – Departure

Free time for last-minute shopping at Shinsaibashi-suji or Don Quijote. Transfer to Kansai International Airport (KIX) for your flight back to India
