Itinerary

Day 1: Cochin Arrival & Transfer to Wayanad

Morning pickup from Cochin Airport/Station.
Drive: Long journey to Wayanad (approx. 8 hours).Check into your resort. If time permits, visit Pookode Lake for a relaxing boat ride.

Morning: Visit Edakkal Caves to see prehistoric rock carvings (note: involves a steep trek). Afternoon: Explore Soochipara Waterfalls or take a bamboo rafting trip at Kuruva Island (subject to water levels).Visit Lakkidi Viewpoint for a panoramic sunset over the Thamarassery Ghat pass.
Early departure for Munnar (approx. 9 hours drive). En-route: Enjoy the changing landscapes from forest to rolling tea estates. Check-in at Munnar and rest for the night.
Visit Eravikulam National Park to spot the Nilgiri Tahr (Closed Feb–April for breeding). Afternoon: Visit the Tea Museum (closed Mondays), Mattupetty Dam, and Echo Point. Optional stroll through the local spice markets in Munnar town.

Drive to Thekkady (approx. 3.5–4 hours).
Afternoon: Boat cruise on Periyar Lake inside the wildlife sanctuary to spot elephants and wild boars. Watch a traditional Kathakali dance or Kalaripayattu martial arts performance.

Visit a Spice Plantation for a guided tour of cardamom, pepper, and coffee. Drive to Alleppey (approx. 4 hours) to board your houseboat by 12:00 PM. Cruise through the backwater canals. All meals are served on board.

Disembark at 9:00 AM. Drive back to Cochin (approx. 2 hours).
If time allows, visit Fort Kochi, the Chinese Fishing Nets, and Jewish Synagogue.
Evening drop-off at Cochin Airport or Railway Station
